Pseudo Choline Esterase Deficiency, A Genetic condition in Komati caste

Our community has a particular deficiency called Pseudo-Choline Esterase deficiency. When a particular anaesthetic called Succinyl Cholin is injected into our body, our body cannot metabolize (digest) the substance and extended sleep apnea occurs. So in times of surgery all of us should be careful.

Pseudo-Cholin Esterase (PCE) deficiency is called arya vysya enzyme deficiency by those who dislike us: it is minor but the fact that other tribes don’t have this means that we all have common genes and ancestry. To put it in simple terms, it is anesthetics-sensitivity. It is a benign condition that is we are not put to any harm anytime because of this condition except when we are injected with anaesthetics. Enzyme is any protein.

No Other Vaishya castes do not have this deficiency. This particular blood condition is unique to Komatis even within Vaishya group of castes. This is not caused because of prolonged vegetarianism.

3. Naturally occurring mutation Leu307Pro of human butyrylcholinesterase in the Vysya community of India.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16788378
CONCLUSIONS:
This is the first report of a molecularly defined BChE mutation in the Indian population. The frequency of homozygous silent BChE in the Vysya community is 1 in 24,  a value 4000-fold higher than the frequency of homozygous silent BChE in European and American populations.

5. Pseudo-Cholin Esterase deficiency can be proved with a simple blood test.

Menarikam factor:
There must be an initially pre-existing disease only then menarikam increases the occurrence of the disease in the community. For other castes menarikam is not a problem as long as diseases do not form.

6. A Chettiyar problem:

It has been discovered that members of the Arya Vaisya Chettiyar clan, one of the 24 sects of Chettiyars, are fatally allergic to some anaesthetic administrations like the muscle relaxant, Suxamethonium, also known in a more friendly way as Scoline.

The Arya Vaisya community also has an infertility problem. In fact, most infertility clinics in Tamil Nadu are flocked to by more members from this community, going by the affirmation given by infertility experts.
_____________
(In Tamil Nadu our Komati people are considered to belong to the Chettiar group of castes. Chettiar caste proper is Nagarathars Chettiars who are different from Komatis. But are considered to be same by others because they also do business. This article also mentions about some fertility problem in the Komati Caste. This article is About Arya Vysya Chettiars only not rest of Chettiars whose name gets spoiled by the Komati Arya Vysya Chettiars.)

7. In South Asian Social Castes, a Living Lab for Genetic Disease:

In certain states in southern India, anesthesiologists know to ask anyone undergoing surgery whether they belong to the Vysya, a regional group traditionally associated with traders and businesspeople.

Anecdotally, medical workers know that some people with Vysya ancestry — who live primarily in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana — have had fatal responses to common muscle relaxants, so doctors will use a different combination of drugs.

The Vysya may have other medical predispositions that have yet to be characterized.
